Questions people ask

How accurate are these estimates?
They are built from typical prices for hotels, food, fuel, buses, flights and jeep hire in each valley, adjusted for season. Real prices vary with haggling, Eid and long weekends, and fuel price changes — so every figure is a range, and a 10% buffer is added for the things that always go wrong in the mountains.
What is included in the total?
Accommodation, food, getting there and back (fuel and tolls, car hire, bus fares or flights), local jeeps where you need them, and the main sightseeing costs. Shopping, souvenirs and personal spending are not included.
Is it cheaper to drive or take the bus to the northern areas?
For one or two people, the bus and coaster is usually cheapest. From three or four people, sharing a car almost always wins, because fuel and tolls are split and you avoid paying for local jeeps every day.
Can I share my trip plan?
Yes. Every change you make is saved in the page address, so the WhatsApp and copy-link buttons send the exact trip you worked out — same days, people, month and travel style.
Can I see prices in dollars or pounds?
Yes — pick a currency next to the total. Everything is calculated in Pakistani rupees and converted at a fixed approximate rate, which is useful for overseas Pakistanis planning a trip home.
