Getting there from Peshawar
For Swat and Chitral you can skip Islamabad entirely via the Swat Motorway; for everything else, join the Hazara Motorway at Burhan.
The Swat Motorway to Chakdara, then Dir and the Lowari Tunnel: about 9 hours from Islamabad. From Chitral it is about 1.5 hours by jeep to Bumburet.
